I received a parcel from Brno a few weeks ago. It was sent by the guys from MonPrunier!
MonPrunier is a Czech microbrand that was founded in 2021 and made their first model in 2022. As you know, I’m a big fan of microbrand watches, so I was delighted when I received the watch!

Their first model is a solid and understated dress watch. A good choice to start with. There are three different color options. The „Deep Blue”, the „Royal Green” and the „Snow White”. I got the „Deep Blue”.
The watch came in a simple but elegant packaging, in a leather box. The first impressions are always important.
The watch case is made out of 316L Stainless steel, it is nicely polished and finished. It has no sharp edges and it is high quality to the touch. It has a screw down case back, and on the back you can see the MonPrunier logo. The case size is 40mm and the lug width is 20mm. There is a logo on the crown as well.
The Deep Blue has a 100M water resistance! Wow, that is not usual among these kind of dress watches. It also has a sapphire crystal with AR coating. It is a great combo!
The dial looks fantastic for me. It is really a deep blue colored dial. The horizontal stripes make this simple dial more interesting. There is a window at 3, the logo at 12 and „Quartz” and „100M Water Resistant” at 6. And you can also see a „Swiss MVMT” sign there. Yes you are right! It has a Swiss Ronda 505 quartz movement. It is a great and a very precise movement.
The indices look like sword blades, and from above it looks like the knights of the round table. The hands have luminescence, and behind each index there is a luminescence point.
The second hand has a leaf ending, which looks pretty good!
The Deep Blue came with jubilee-type bracelet, which makes it more elegant. Ont he clasp you can see the MonPrunier Logo. Although the bracelet needs some more improvement in my opinion. It looks great, it is comfortable, but I miss something, it is just not what I expected. The clasp is the weakest link.
Actually if I think about the price, the bracelet is not that bad. The price of the MonPrunier Deep Blue is 4.990,00 Kč which is around 205€. If you don’t like the steel bracelet you can also buy a Hirsch leather strap for another 45 euros.
All in all it is a great watch for a great price. You don’t have to break the bank to buy it and you get a quality microbrand piece!
